This notice has been prepared by the Personal Data Protection Authority (Nasuh Akar Mahallesi 1407. Sok. No:4, 06520 Çankaya/Ankara) as the data controller within the scope of Article 10 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (Law) and the Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures to Be Followed in Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform.
The purpose of this Cookie Disclosure Notice is to inform you about the processing of personal data obtained automatically through cookies placed on your device on our website, including which types of cookies we use, for what purposes, the legal basis, and your rights.
Only strictly necessary first-party session and persistent cookies are used on our website to provide the service.
Types of Cookies
According to duration:
Session cookies are used to maintain the continuity of the session and are deleted when the user closes their browser. Persistent cookies are not deleted when the browser is closed and are automatically deleted on a specific date or after a specific period. In this context, both session and persistent cookies are used on our website.
First-party and third-party cookies:
First-party cookies are placed directly by the website visited by the user, i.e., the address shown in the browser’s address bar. Third-party cookies are placed by a domain different from the one visited. In this context, only first-party cookies are used on our website.
According to purpose:
Cookies may be used for strictly necessary, functional, or advertising/marketing purposes. In this context, strictly necessary cookies are used on our website to provide the information society services you explicitly request.
Accordingly:
A) To understand whether subsequent requests on the webpage are reliable, a first-party persistent cookie named cookiesession1 is used (stored for one year).
B) For session management, the PHPSESSID cookie is used (valid only during the session and automatically deleted when the browser is closed).
C) To confirm that the cookie disclosure notice has been read, a first-party persistent cookie named cookiepolicy_status is used (stored for one year).
D) A cookie named http_referer, which stores the address (referrer) of the page previously visited by the user on the website, is used (valid only during the session and deleted when the browser is closed).
Your personal data are processed by associating them with your IP information. These personal data are not transferred to other data controllers.
Processing through these cookies is carried out based on the legal ground in Article 5/2(f) of Law No. 6698:
"Data processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject."
You may submit your requests under Article 11 of the Law, which regulates the rights of the data subject, to the Personal Data Protection Authority in accordance with the Communiqué on the Principles and Procedures for Applications to the Data Controller.
